Dating to 1935, this Ulysse Nardin Chronograph features a yellow gold cushion-shaped case measuring approximately 32.5 mm across, excluding the crown, and 41 mm from lug to lug, with a thickness of 11.5 mm. A domed Plexiglas crystal covers the dial.
The black dial features gold-coloured Arabic numerals, scales and lettering, with the “ULYSSE NARDIN / LOCLE SUISSE” signature arranged over two lines. Its two-register layout includes small seconds at 9 o’clock and a chronograph counter at 3 o’clock, complemented by a peripheral tachymeter scale. There is no date display.
The movement is specified as a manually wound Valjoux 23 with 17 jewels, a 42-hour power reserve and an operating frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour, equivalent to 2.5 Hz.
The watch is fitted with a cognac-brown leather strap featuring a scale-patterned texture and a gold pin buckle. The strap measures 18 mm at the lugs and tapers to 16 mm at the buckle.
Superficial scratches are visible on the case, bezel and solid caseback. The dial displays uneven colouring on the numerals and surface irregularities, while no visible signs of wear are recorded on the crystal. The strap shows creasing, wear around the adjustment holes and deterioration of the lining near the lugs. The buckle displays light signs of wear.
The watch was operating correctly when checked. Replacement components are recorded, although the specific parts are not identified. No customisations or modifications are reported. Water resistance has not been tested, and no documented service history or accompanying accessories are provided.
