Terms of Service

Last updated: October 24, 2026

Overview

Welcome to Watch Anatomy.

The terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Watch Anatomy.

Watch Anatomy operates this online store and website, including related information, content, features, products and services (collectively, the "Services").

Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce infrastructure that enables us to offer our Services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to our website and purchases made through our online store.

By using our Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or limits any mandatory rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

Please read these Terms carefully before using our Services.

Section 1 — Access and Account

You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, placing an order or communicating with us.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities carried out through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Purchases must be made by persons legally capable of entering into the relevant contract or with any authorization required by applicable law.

You may not transfer or sell your account to another person without our authorization.

We may restrict or suspend accounts used fraudulently, unlawfully or in material violation of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Section 2 — Our Products

Watch Anatomy specializes in watches, watch components, accessories and related products.

Our catalog may include new, pre-owned, vintage, collectible, restored or previously serviced items.

We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate descriptions, photographs and information about our products.

Product listings may include information concerning brand, reference, materials, dimensions, condition, functionality, originality, known defects, restoration history and included accessories, where relevant and available.

Vintage and Pre-Owned Products

Vintage and pre-owned items may show signs of age, previous use, natural patina, cosmetic wear or historical repairs.

The condition and characteristics of individual items will be described as accurately as reasonably possible.

Descriptions of condition do not exclude any statutory rights concerning conformity with the contract.

Authenticity and Components

Statements regarding authenticity, originality or replacement components refer to the characteristics and information disclosed in the relevant product listing.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Watch Anatomy is an independent retailer and is not necessarily affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by the manufacturers of the products offered.

Third-party brand names and trademarks are used for the purpose of identifying and describing products.

Watch Performance and Water Resistance

The accuracy, performance, power reserve and water resistance of watches may vary depending on their age, condition and maintenance history.

Original manufacturer specifications do not necessarily represent the current performance of a vintage or pre-owned watch.

Where testing has been performed, any relevant results or limitations will be indicated in the product description where appropriate.

Water resistance should not be assumed to have been tested or guaranteed unless expressly stated.

These disclosures do not limit obligations relating to accurate product descriptions or mandatory consumer guarantees.

Watch Parts and Compatibility

Customers should review the compatibility, measurements, references and specifications of watch components before purchase.

Any compatibility information supplied by Watch Anatomy forms part of the relevant product description.

We do not exclude responsibility for incorrect compatibility information provided by us or for non-conforming products.

Section 3 — Orders and Contract Formation

When you place an order, you submit an offer to purchase the products selected.

An automated acknowledgment that your order has been received does not necessarily constitute acceptance of your offer.

A contract is formed when Watch Anatomy expressly accepts your order, including through an order confirmation communicating acceptance or another clearly identified acceptance step.

We may refuse or cancel an order before contract formation for legitimate reasons, including unavailability, suspected fraud, payment failure, legal restrictions or material pricing errors.

Where a binding contract has already been formed, cancellation by Watch Anatomy will be subject to applicable contractual and consumer protection law.

If an order is cancelled and payment has been received, any amount due to be refunded will be returned in accordance with applicable law.

Before placing an order, customers will have an opportunity to review relevant order information and correct input errors.

After placing an order, customers will receive electronic confirmation of the transaction and the relevant contractual information as required by applicable law.

For eligible purchases, cancellation and return rights are governed by our Refund Policy and mandatory consumer protection laws.

Section 4 — Prices and Payment

Product prices are displayed on our website in the applicable currency.

For sales to consumers in the European Union, prices will include applicable taxes where required by law, taking account of the relevant tax treatment of the product.

Certain pre-owned products may be subject to special taxation arrangements, including the applicable margin scheme where legally available.

Shipping charges and any additional costs collected by Watch Anatomy will be disclosed before the customer submits a binding order.

For international orders, customs duties, import taxes and other destination-country charges may apply.

Where such charges are not collected by Watch Anatomy, customers may be required to pay them to the relevant carrier or customs authority, in accordance with applicable law and the information provided before purchase.

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout.

Payments are processed using the payment services made available through Shopify or other authorized providers.

We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors, subject to applicable consumer rights and rules concerning contract formation.

Any discounts or promotions will be subject to their disclosed conditions and applicable law.

Section 5 — Shipping and Delivery

Watch Anatomy offers shipping to supported international destinations.

Available destinations, delivery options and applicable shipping charges will be provided through our website or checkout.

Delivery estimates are indicative unless an agreed delivery deadline is expressly confirmed.

We will make reasonable efforts to dispatch and deliver orders within the communicated timeframes.

For European Union consumer purchases, unless a different delivery time is agreed, goods must generally be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded.

If delivery is delayed, the customer may exercise the remedies available under applicable law.

Risk During Transport

For sales to consumers protected by European consumer law, the risk of loss or damage generally transfers when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

An exception may apply where the consumer independently commissions a carrier not offered by Watch Anatomy, as provided by applicable law.

For customers in other jurisdictions, the transfer of risk will be governed by applicable mandatory law and the contractual terms lawfully applicable to their purchase.

High-Value Shipments

Orders containing valuable watches may be subject to additional security, tracking, verification or delivery procedures.

Shipping insurance may be arranged where available and appropriate.

Any limitations of third-party shipping insurance do not remove statutory rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

International Shipping

Customers are responsible for complying with applicable import requirements and restrictions in their destination country, without prejudice to the seller's own legal obligations.

Some products or materials may be subject to export, import, customs or wildlife-trade restrictions.

We reserve the right not to accept or fulfill shipments that would violate applicable law.

Section 6 — Intellectual Property

The content of our website, including original text, photographs, graphics, designs, website elements and other protected materials, is owned by Watch Anatomy or used with permission from the relevant rights holders.

All applicable intellectual property rights are reserved.

You may use the website for lawful personal purposes.

You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or otherwise use protected website content without permission, except where authorized by applicable law.

Third-party trademarks and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.

Their appearance on our website does not necessarily imply affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement.

Section 7 — Optional Tools and Services

Our website may provide access to services, applications or tools operated by third parties.

These services may be subject to additional terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the independent acts of third parties beyond the extent established by applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits our responsibility for the performance of obligations that remain legally attributable to Watch Anatomy.

Section 8 — Third-Party Links

Our Services may contain links to websites operated by third parties.

We do not control the content or practices of independent third-party websites.

We encourage customers to review the terms and privacy policies of external websites before using them.

The inclusion of a third-party link does not necessarily indicate endorsement.

Section 9 — Relationship with Shopify

Watch Anatomy is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our online store and related Services.

However, sales and purchases made through our store are concluded directly with Watch Anatomy, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Shopify is not the seller of products purchased directly from Watch Anatomy and is not responsible for fulfilling our sales contracts.

Any rights or obligations that independently arise under applicable law remain unaffected.

Section 10 — Privacy Policy

Personal information collected through our Services is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, retain and share personal information.

Shopify may also process personal information in accordance with its applicable privacy policies and legal responsibilities.

You can review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at:

https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/app-users

Section 11 — Feedback and Reviews

If you submit reviews, comments, suggestions or other content to our Services, you confirm that you are entitled to submit that content and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

You grant Watch Anatomy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce and display submitted content for legitimate business purposes associated with our Services, subject to applicable intellectual property, privacy and consumer protection laws.

We may moderate or remove unlawful, fraudulent, misleading or otherwise prohibited content where permitted by law.

Customer reviews and testimonials will be handled in accordance with applicable requirements concerning authenticity and transparency.

Section 12 — Errors, Inaccuracies and Omissions

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product information, descriptions, prices and availability are accurate.

Occasionally, errors or omissions may occur.

We may correct inaccuracies, update information or address genuine errors in accordance with applicable law.

Where an error affects an existing contract, the rights and obligations of the parties will be determined under applicable contract and consumer protection law.

We do not reserve an unrestricted right to cancel binding contracts or change agreed prices unilaterally.

Section 13 — Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

Prohibited activities include:

  • Infringing intellectual property or other legal rights.

  • Attempting unauthorized access to accounts or systems.

  • Introducing malicious software or interfering with website security.

  • Submitting fraudulent orders or false payment information.

  • Using the Services to harass, threaten or unlawfully harm others.

  • Collecting personal information without an appropriate legal basis.

  • Circumventing technical security measures.

  • Conducting unauthorized automated activities that materially interfere with the Services.

We may take proportionate action against violations, including restricting access, subject to applicable law.

Section 14 — Automated Agents

Automated tools and software agents accessing our Services must comply with applicable law and the reasonable technical and security requirements established for our website.

We may restrict unauthorized automated access, scraping or activities that threaten website performance, security or the rights of others.

Nothing in this section restricts activities that cannot lawfully be prohibited.

Section 15 — Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to our Services in cases of material breach, fraudulent activity, security threats or other lawful grounds.

Termination of website access does not automatically terminate valid purchase contracts or affect accrued rights and obligations.

Mandatory customer rights, including refund and consumer guarantee rights, remain unaffected.

Section 16 — Legal Guarantees and Product Conformity

Statutory Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or replaces mandatory legal guarantees or statutory remedies available to consumers.

For consumer purchases governed by Italian law, the seller is generally responsible for a lack of conformity that existed at delivery and becomes apparent within the legally applicable liability period, generally two years from delivery.

For second-hand goods, Italian law permits the seller and consumer to agree on a shorter liability period, provided that the period is not less than one year.

Unless a valid shorter period has been expressly agreed for a particular second-hand purchase, the applicable ordinary statutory period remains in effect.

Any additional rights arising from repairs or other remedies under applicable legislation also remain unaffected.

Conformity of Vintage and Pre-Owned Products

The assessment of conformity takes account of the product description, agreed characteristics, age, condition, disclosed defects and the requirements imposed by applicable law.

Ordinary age-related characteristics that have been properly disclosed are not automatically defects of conformity.

Any specific deviation from objective conformity requirements will be handled in accordance with the disclosure and acceptance requirements imposed by applicable law.

Consumer Remedies

Where a product does not conform to the contract, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction, termination of the contract or other remedies under applicable law.

These remedies will be provided in accordance with the relevant legal requirements and without unlawful charges to the consumer.

Where repair or replacement is impossible or disproportionate, other remedies may be available.

Commercial Warranties

Any additional commercial warranty expressly offered for a product is separate from, and does not replace, the applicable statutory legal guarantee.

The scope and duration of any commercial warranty will be stated in its specific terms.

Other Jurisdictions

Customers outside Italy may benefit from different or additional mandatory warranties and consumer protections.

These rights remain unaffected where applicable.

Section 17 — Limitation of Liability

Watch Anatomy is responsible for its contractual and statutory obligations in accordance with applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused exclusively by events outside our reasonable control or by conduct for which we are not legally responsible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for:

  • Fraud or intentional misconduct.

  • Personal injury or other harm where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

  • Mandatory statutory product or consumer guarantees.

  • Any other liability or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Any permitted limitation of liability will apply only to the extent allowed by the law governing the relevant transaction.

Section 18 — Indemnification

Where legally permitted, you agree to compensate Watch Anatomy for direct losses arising from your unlawful conduct or material breach of these Terms, to the extent that such losses are legally recoverable.

This provision does not create an unrestricted obligation for consumers to indemnify Watch Anatomy or third parties.

It does not exclude mandatory consumer protections, impose liability prohibited by applicable law or prevent customers from exercising their legal rights.

Section 19 — Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision will be ineffective to the extent required.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply where legally possible.

Section 20 — Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable product descriptions, accepted order details and policies expressly incorporated into the contract, govern purchases made through our website.

Nothing in this section excludes mandatory pre-contractual information, legally binding statements or other rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

Section 21 — Assignment

Customers may not transfer contractual obligations to third parties without any consent required under applicable law.

Watch Anatomy may assign or transfer contractual rights or obligations only in accordance with applicable law and without unlawfully reducing consumer rights.

Section 22 — Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are generally governed by Italian law.

However, where mandatory consumer protection rules of another country apply to a customer's purchase, this choice of law does not deprive the customer of the protection provided by those mandatory rules.

For disputes involving consumers, jurisdiction will be determined in accordance with applicable consumer protection and private international law rules.

Nothing in these Terms removes the right of a consumer to bring proceedings before a court that has mandatory jurisdiction under applicable law.

For disputes not subject to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules, the competent courts will be determined in accordance with the applicable procedural and contractual rules.

Where appropriate, customers may also have access to alternative dispute resolution procedures under applicable law.

Section 23 — Headings

Section titles are provided for convenience and do not independently affect the interpretation of these Terms.

Section 24 — Changes to Terms of Service

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our Services, business operations or applicable law.

Updated Terms will be published on our website together with the relevant revision date.

Changes will not retroactively modify existing purchase contracts or remove accrued consumer rights except where lawfully permitted and agreed.

Material changes will be communicated where required by applicable law.
