The IWC Schaffhausen Ingenieur Chrono Alarm ref. 3805 features a 34 mm stainless steel case, a sapphire crystal and an integrated stainless steel bracelet. Produced as a model between 1991 and 1997, this reference combines chronograph, date and alarm functions.
The black dial displays white Arabic numerals and cream-coloured details, including a triangle at 12 o’clock. Three subdials incorporate small seconds at 6 o’clock, while the date window sits between 4 and 5 o’clock. A red skeletonised hand indicates the alarm setting, with a dedicated alarm crown positioned on the left side of the case. The dial bears the IWC Schaffhausen signature and “T SWISS MADE T” inscription.
Powering the watch is the battery-operated IWC calibre 633, a 27-jewel meca-quartz movement manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre. The stainless steel bezel features five circular recesses, while the integrated bracelet has raised central elements and a stainless steel folding clasp engraved with the IWC logo.
Visible superficial scratches are present on the case, bezel, solid caseback, bracelet and clasp. No visible signs of wear are recorded on the dial or sapphire crystal. Component originality has been verified, with no replacement parts or modifications reported.
The watch operates correctly except for the chronograph reset function, which does not work properly. The model’s nominal water-resistance rating is 3 ATM; water resistance has not been tested on this example. No documented service history or accompanying accessories are provided.
